Estimating Summer Intern - Construction Management

PRECISION GCC is a best-in-class multifamily construction management company with 33 years' experience of excellence in our niche. We are seeking an Estimating Intern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help review plans, specifications, and bid documents for project requirements

• Support estimators in preparing cost estimates and bid proposals

• Request and track subcontractor and supplier quotes

• Assist with scope reviews to ensure all work items are included in the estimate

• Help maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing information

• Assist in preparing bid comparison sheets for subcontractor proposals

• Organize and maintain bid documents and estimate files

• Support the team with document control and addenda tracking during bidding

• Assist with value engineering research and alternative material pricing

• Help compile final bid packages and proposal documents

• Provide general administrative and analytical support to the estimating team

• Learn the construction estimating process and bid lifecycle

• Become familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

• Develop skills in estimating software and Excel

• Gain understanding of subcontractor trades, materials, and construction methods

• Participate in pre-bid meetings, team reviews, and estimate discussions

Term: Approximately June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026 (flexible with dates)

Rate of Pay: $20/hour

Hours: M-F, Flexible between 18-40 hours per week
