Job Details
This Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for complex sports construction projects, collaborating closely with preconstruction, operations, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for sports construction projectsPerform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis across multiple tradesSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bidsDevelop budgets, GMPs, and bid proposalsParticipate in pre-bid meetings and value engineering discussionsSupport project handoff from preconstruction to operations
Project Types May Include
Athletic complexes and stadiumsIndoor and outdoor sports facilitiesRecreation centers and training facilitiesSpecialty sports surfaces and site-intensive projects
Qualifications
3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction (sports experience strongly preferred)Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and cost driversProficiency with estimating software and ExcelAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and team collaboration skills
