A leading general contractor based right outside of Boston is seeking an estimator to join their team. They will look at applicants with 1 - 10+ years of experience across various market sectors.

Description
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to analyze project requirements.
- Review and evaluate project drawings, plans, and specifications to determine scope and budget.
- Identify potential risks and provide solutions to minimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing and quality services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and construction techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to estimated costs and timelines.

A successful Estimator- Commercial Construction should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
