As a fully integrated contractor, they offer in-house engineering, prefabrication capabilities, self-perform trades, and extensive equipment resources that allow them to successfully execute projects ranging from small interior renovations to large-scale ground-up developments.Job DescriptionJob Description:Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from $500K to $40MConduct quantity takeoffs and pricing utilizing industry software and subcontractor/vendor input
Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand project needs and develop relationships
Visit project sites throughout Maine to evaluate opportunities and gather project information
Collaborate with ownership, operations teams, and field personnel during the preconstruction process
Develop proposals, budgets, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Assist with business development efforts and help identify new project opportunities
Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the sales and estimating process

Experience estimating a variety of commercial project types
Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
Comfortable balancing estimating responsibilities with sales and business development activities
Knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and pricing
Experience with Procore, Sage, and On-Screen Takeoff (OST) preferred
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to work from or commute to the Fairfield, Maine area
Stable work history with strong professional references
