Request ID: 100111-1 Title: ETL Test Engineer / Data QA Engineer (Informatica IICS/IDMC) Locations: San Antonio, TX Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension. Pay Range: $35-$41/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive) We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer / Data QA Engineer with strong expertise in ETL testing, data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing complex data workflows, data warehouses, and enterprise applications while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliability of business-critical data.
The role requires experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC/IICS, ETL validation, UAT support, regulatory testing, and data quality management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 7 years of experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing / Data QA.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- ETL testing
- Data validation
- Data reconciliation
- Data quality testing
- End-to-end business process testing
- Experience testing enterprise data warehouses and complex data integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
- Experience with Informatica cloud technologies:
- IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
- IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)(preferred)
- Experience validating:
- Data transformations
- Source-to-target mappings
- Data loads
- Business rules
- Reporting accuracy
- Strong understanding of SQL for data validation and testing.
- Experience supporting:
- UAT testing
- Compliance testing
- Production validation
- Audit requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute QA strategies, test plans, test approaches, and exit reports.
- Review business and technical requirements to ensure testability.
- Identify testing scope, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Validate end-to-end business processes and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of financial calculations, reporting, and data outputs.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple applications, systems, and data warehouses.
- Perform ETL validation, data reconciliation, and defect analysis.
- Manage defect triage, reporting, tracking, and resolution.
- Establish testing standards, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, data engineers, and QA teams.

- Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- SAFe Agile Certification
