Infosys is seeking an ETL Test Lead with strong SQL, ETL experience

Job Description:

As an ETL Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC - Hybrid model (3 days per week at the client office) or be willing to relocate in one of these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in QA Testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in test strategy, test design, test execution, defect analysis, and reporting, with solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• 4+ years of hands‑on ETL testing experience.
• Advanced skills in SQL, including the ability to interpret ETL transformations and translate them into complex queries for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot (or similar AI‑assisted development/testing tools).
• Ability to work effectively in a team with diverse stakeholders across multiple environments.
• Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to data‑validation tools such as TOSCA (preferred).

Nice to have

• Tableau/Power BI, JIRA & Confluence experience
• Experience with VS Code
• Data migration testing experience
• Understand the test cases / scenarios using BDD Framework

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Person should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. Required to work from Office 3 days a week.
