Job Description
Student worker position in the Event Management department to assist with the execution of on-campus events. Must be able to lift objects and stand on feet for multiple hours on event days. Must be able to work as a team as well as individually. Must be a current Lipscomb University student.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ability to work well with full-time event staff and other student workers
- Communicate effectively with Event Managers and team members
- Positively interact with internal and external clients
- Assist event team with set-up and tear down of events
- Arrive promptly on time as scheduled
- Complete assigned tasks in-office
- Organize event materials and inventory
- Maintain a professional manner, including attire, in and out of the office
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Availability to time manage and work potential weekly hours in-office
- Supports the Event Manager to perform duties on day of event in their absence
- Includes working ticketing services at non-athletic events
May be Federal Work Study eligible.
