Events Program Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 5 months contractJob Description:

• We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Program Manager to support our growing presence in the Dallas market. This role is responsible for planning and executing a variety of local events where autonomous vehicles will be showcased — from large-scale concerts and races to community gatherings and experiential activations.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong event management and program coordination experience, excellent communication skills, and comfort working with digital tools and mapping platforms. This role is remote but requires the individual to be based in Dallas to provide on-the-ground event support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute event operations in the Dallas market, including large-scale events (e.g., concerts, marathons, festivals, and block parties).
• Develop comprehensive event plans using internal templates that detail logistics, stakeholder responsibilities, risk assessments, and execution timelines.
• Create and manage pickup/drop-off zones and avoidance maps for autonomous vehicles using mapping tools such as My Maps or equivalent platforms.
• Conduct regular scans of local events to identify opportunities for presence and to anticipate potential traffic or road closure impacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, engineering, and leadership) to communicate event details and ensure smooth coordination.
• Occasionally test pickup/drop-off routes by hailing vehicles to verify event plans and user experience (limited in scope).
• Prepare clear post-event summaries and recommendations to improve future event planning and execution.

 Experience:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in event program management, operations, or experiential marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting detailed plans to cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with digital tools and mapping platforms, and a willingness to learn new event management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical or logistical information into actionable plans.
• Analytical and risk assessment mindset — able to anticipate and mitigate operational or logistical challenges related to autonomous vehicle operations and public events.
