Job Overview:

This isn't just another excavation job-it's a leadership opportunity where your expertise and drive will shape outcomes every single day. As our Excavation Crew Lead, you'll be the go-to person for installing, repairing, and replacing underground sewer and water lines using advanced methods like pipe bursting and re-lining, as well as traditional excavation. The schedule will be full-time, Monday through Friday, plus occasional overtime when needed.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead excavation and trenchless operations with precision and efficiency
• Operate equipment (mini excavators, trenchless systems) and ensure safe digging practices
• Direct and mentor your helper, keeping the job site organized and productive
• Troubleshoot issues, communicate with supervisors/customers, and maintain detailed documentation
• Uphold safety standards and local regulations while delivering top-quality results

YOU MIGHT BE A MATCH IF YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in underground utility work, including pipe bursting and re-lining methods, as well as traditional excavation
• Experience guiding a helper or small team
• Strong knowledge of equipment operation and job site safety
• Ability and willingness to perform physical labor as the primary worker on the crew
• Ability to solve problems and work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work Monday–Friday with occasional overtime
