Job Description

The Restaurant Zone is seeking an accomplished and creative Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our upscale restaurant specializing in Japanese and Italian cuisine. This leadership role requires a visionary chef with expertise in both culinary traditions, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to exceptional quality and presentation. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing menu development, managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency, and inspiring a talented team of culinary professionals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that showcase Japanese and Italian culinary expertise.
  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to manage food costs, inventory, and budgeting.

  • Ensure consistency and excellence in food quality and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in upscale restaurants with strong expertise in Japanese and Italian cuisines.
  • Creative culinary skills with a passion for menu innovation and presentation.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.
