Legacy Village of Castle Pines-an upscale Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community-is seeking an experienced and results-driven Executive Director to lead our community operations. We are known for our "Personal Touch" culture, where meaningful, heart-to-heart connections with residents and families are at the center of everything we do.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the overall performance, culture, and success of the community. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator, strong team builder, and passionate advocate for seniors.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 annually (DOE)

Position Summary

The Executive Director is accountable for all aspects of community performance, including operations, financial management, census development, team leadership, compliance, and resident satisfaction. This role serves as the primary liaison to ownership and regulatory agencies while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Direct and oversee daily operations across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
  • Ensure services consistently meet or exceed company standards and resident expectations
  • Foster a culture centered on dignity, respect, and resident-centered care 

Financial Performance

  • Manage and operate within established budgets, driving profitability and efficiency
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and control expenses
  • Partner with ownership on annual operating and capital budgets; analyze and explain variances

Census & Growth

  • Lead occupancy and census development strategies to maintain stabilized occupancy
  • Oversee community marketing efforts and strengthen local market presence
  • Build relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across all departments
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, employment laws, and best practices
  • Promote accountability, engagement, and professional growth among team members

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure full compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies
  • Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence

Facilities Oversight

  • Ensure the community is well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing
  • Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and overall physical plant operations

Qualifications

  • Current (or ability to obtain) Assisted Living Administrator license in the state of Colorado
  • Proven leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care operations
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, census, and revenue growth
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, employee engagement, and culture development
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for serving seniors and enhancing quality of life
