Leading a team of approximately 100 professionals across 8 offices, this individual will play a critical role in scaling the organization, enhancing operational controls, driving process improvement, and maintaining exceptional service quality for institutional clients.

Infrastructure as an asset class continues to experience significant global growth, driven by increasing institutional allocations to real assets, energy transition, digital infrastructure, and transportation. Citco's Real Assets Infrastructure practice is positioned at the forefront of this growth, providing specialist fund administration services to some of the world's leading infrastructure fund managers. This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead that capability at a critical point in its development.

This is a high-impact executive role with significant influence over Citco's Real Assets Infrastructure growth strategy, operational excellence, and client service delivery.

Job Duties in Brief:

  • Ensure timely and accurate NAV reporting, investor allocations, capital activity processing, and financial statement preparation, including asset-level reporting, waterfall calculations, and infrastructure-specific performance metrics such as IRR, MOIC, and yield-based returns
  • Review and oversee complex multi-jurisdictional fund structures including SPVs, blocker entities, holding companies, concession vehicles, and project finance structures common to infrastructure investments
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local country GAAP, including application of investment company accounting, consolidation analysis, and fair value measurement standards specific to infrastructure assets

Client Service and Relationship Management

  • Serve as a senior escalation point and strategic partner for leading infrastructure fund managers, demonstrating deep understanding of their investment strategies, asset-level complexities, and investor reporting requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders
  • Partner with business development relationship management teams to support client retention and growth
  • Lead onboarding of new infrastructure fund structures, including assessment of asset-level accounting requirements, project finance considerations, and bespoke investor reporting frameworks

Operational Leadership and Scalability

  • Lead and scale high-performing accounting and operations teams across multiple Citco offices and regions
  • Drive operational efficiency, standardization, and automation across infrastructure-specific workflows including asset-level accounting, debt and financing tracking, capital expenditure monitoring, and distribution waterfall processing
  • Establish scalable workflows and quality control procedures tailored to the long-dated, complex nature of infrastructure investments, including periodic asset revaluation processes and lender reporting requirements
  • Oversee resource planning, team utilization, and organizational development

Risk Consciousness

  • Strengthen internal controls, operational governance, and accounting oversight frameworks with specific attention to risks inherent in infrastructure investing, including concession agreement compliance, regulatory reporting, project-level covenant monitoring, and ESG disclosure requirements
  • Manage risk escalation, issue resolution, and operational oversight activities across complex infrastructure fund structures, including identification and resolution of asset-level accounting issues, valuation disputes, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters
  • Participate in Risk and Quality assurance programs specific to Real Assets Infrastructure product
  • Contribute to SOC 1 and Internal audits

Strategic and Executive Leadership

  • Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic growth of Citco's Real Assets Infrastructure practice, capitalizing on increasing institutional allocations to infrastructure and real assets globally
  • Develop financial control and staffing plans
  • Support technology transformation and system implementations specific to infrastructure fund administration, including asset management platforms, project finance tools, and infrastructure-specific reporting systems such as Yardi and Investran
  • Coordinate and oversee staffing, hiring, training and development of a global team

About You:

CPA, MBA, or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure fund structures including closed-end, open-end, evergreen, and co-investment vehicles.
