Exempt Organizations Tax Associate - Tampa, FLWho: A developing tax professional with experience serving tax-exempt organizations and a desire to grow in a collaborative environment.What: Prepare tax filings, support compliance and consulting work, and collaborate with firm and market leaders.When: Hiring immediately to support the expanding Not-for-Profit Tax team.Where: Tampa, FLWhy: To strengthen a mission-focused practice while gaining valuable experience serving tax-exempt clients.Office Environment: Supportive, collaborative, growth-oriented, and grounded in integrity and continuous learning.Salary: Competitive compensation supported by a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package.Position Overview:The Not-for-Profit Tax Experienced Associate will support compliance and consulting services for tax-exempt organizations, contribute to client engagements, and gain exposure to a variety of nonprofit sectors while building technical and professional skills.Key Responsibilities:● Provide tax compliance and consulting services to not-for-profit clients.● Prepare Forms 990, 1120, and related filings for exempt organizations and their affiliates.● Use strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to support engagements.● Consult with market and firm leaders on client needs.● Network within the community and relevant industries to build relationships.Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.● Ability to obtain CPA licensure; active CPA preferred.● 2+ years of public accounting experience.● Experience serving tax-exempt organizations.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
