Exercise Physiologist

Hourly Pay Range:

$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Rehab

    Hours: Hours of operation are 6 am- 7 pm, employee hours varySchedule: 24 hours per week

    No weekends or holidays

What you will need:

1+ year of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation experience highly preferred ECG (EKG) interpretation skills

    Exercise prescription and patient monitoring experienceBachelor of Science degree in an exercise science or a related field (e.g. Kinesiology or Physical Education).   Emphasis in exercise physiology preferred.  MS preferred 

    Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red CrossACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (within 6 months of hire)

What you will do: 

    Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patientsMonitor patients during exercise sessions, including vital signs and ECG (EKG)

    Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progressLead group exercise sessions, including warm-up and cool-down

    Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changesMaintain accurate documentation and patient records

    Support safe, effective progression toward independent, home-based exercise routines
