About Us The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is a leading automotive group, representing 24 dealerships, 14 collision centers, and 18 automotive brands across the Delmarva Peninsula. What We're Looking For: We are seeking Experienced Auto Repair Technicians / Automotive Mechanics to join our growing team. If you have a passion for problem-solving, a strong technical background, and the desire to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional communication and updates to service advisors and the parts department
- Utilize shop and diagnostic equipment with confidence, ensuring adherence to safety procedures
- Diagnose automotive issues through experience, analysis, and testing
- Maintain and expand knowledge of vehicle components and systems
- Adapt to evolving automotive technologies and diagnostic tools
- Adhere to safety and environmental standards while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Complete repair orders and conduct vehicle safety inspections
- Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and achieve career growth
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician; ASE and Master Certifications are a plus
- Strong technical expertise in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and other departments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma / GED required
