Salary Range: $80000.00 - $150000.00 per year

Responsibilities

When you join our team, you will work in a collaborative work environment to:

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, advising on risk management and proper commercial insurance coverage.
• Learn our unique way of brokering that assures the best solution for the client no matter the market or the risk!
• Learn how to evaluate a risk and understand their business operations and financial structure to properly advise them on risk structuring and coverage and prepare a company narrative to represent them effectively.
• Respond to clients, insurance carriers, sales team, and supervisor's correspondences and requests in a timely, effective,

and professional manner. Research and present answers to client questions about their policies and coverage.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on carrier products, guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes in order to make effective recommendations to clients.
• Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specs for marketing.
• Process and submit new and renewal clients for marketing and placement, review and summarize quotes for competitiveness and accuracy, and negotiate rates when appropriate.
• Prepare proposals with the help of the sales team for client presentations. Execute accurate invoicing and financing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Process and check policies, endorsements, endorsement requests, and audits for accuracy.
• Manage, submit, and follow-up with claims throughout the claims process.
• Prepare and manage timetables, summaries and/or schedules for the entire book of business with regard to coverage, renewals, deliverables, and marketing strategy.
• Constantly develop yourself professionally to be the expert advisor in the world of risk management and commercial insurance brokering, through internal and external education, and gain certifications like the CPCU, CIC, ARM, etc.!

• Commercial Insurance Expertise, and works as a Commercial Account Manager
• Preferably holds a CPCU, CIC, ARM or other.
• Preferably a business degree (finance, accounting, economics, statistics, etc.) from an accredited college
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Math and problem-solving skills, with and ability to connect the dots and be forward looking.
• Aptitude for learning new technology
• Positive attitude, good listening skills and empathy
• Highly organized and strong time management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines
• Works with integrity and a high-level of confidentiality
