We currently have a need for Experienced Computer Repair Technicians in the Collierville area.
Job Summary
The Experienced Computer Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications
- Perform virus and malware removal, data recovery, and system optimization
- Troubleshoot hardware issues (e.g., motherboards, RAM, hard drives, power supplies)
- Repair or replace damaged components such as screens, keyboards, and internal parts
- Maintain and troubleshoot wired and wireless network connections
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers or staff
- Document repair processes, services performed, and parts used
- Ensure systems are secure and operating efficiently
- Stay current with emerging technologies and repair techniques
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in computer repair or IT support
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with diagnostic tools and repair software
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
Preferred Certifications (optional but valuable)
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft or Apple certifications
- Other relevant IT or technical certifications
