Position Overview

As an Estate Planning Paralegal at Vaughn Law, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals and families through the complexities of securing their legacies. Your expertise will help ensure that every document we prepare accurately reflects each client's wishes while adhering to the highest legal standards—delivering personalized solutions that safeguard assets, minimize tax liabilities, and honor our clients' final intentions.

Your attention to detail and commitment to client education will build lasting trust and confidence. Through responsive communication and clear, concise guidance, you will empower clients to make well-informed decisions at every stage of their estate planning journey, reinforcing our firm's reputation for managing their most significant concerns with the utmost care.

Key Responsibilities

Draft a comprehensive range of estate planning documents using specialized legal software.Engage directly with clients to gather required information and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout each matter.

Develop and maintain meticulous client files to support ongoing case management.Assemble and organize professional binders containing fully executed client documents.

Coordinate and participate in client signing meetings for estate planning documents.Prepare probate pleadings and related legal documents under attorney supervision.

Assist in the administration of trusts, including the coordination and transfer of assets into trust.Manage competing deadlines to ensure timely, accurate completion of all assignments.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of three (3) years of paralegal experience in estate planning.In-depth working knowledge of probate law, trusts, and estate planning principles.

Proficiency in estate planning software; experience with WealthCounsel strongly preferred.Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.

Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Strong work ethic, integrity, and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
