• * Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
• * One or more years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law or litigation preferred.
• * Familiarity with family court procedures, filing requirements, and local rules.
• * Experience preparing financial affidavits, statements of income and expenses, and asset/liability summaries.
• * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• * Experience with document management and e-filing systems.
• * Prior courtroom, mediation, or hearing preparation experience preferred.
• * Adaptability and willingness to take on new tasks as they arise.
• * Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
• * Ability to structure complex projects efficiently and set/adjust priorities effectively; superior attention to detail; excellent judgment and use of discretion.
• * Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
