Position Title: Experienced Forklift DriverJob Summary:We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and storing materials while maintaining productivity and accuracy.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse or production facility.
- Accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent forklift operating experience.
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory reports.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
