Job Description

Link Service Heating & Cooling has been a family-owned company since 1951, providing residential heating & air conditioning services to the communities of Blair and Cambria Counties. We are currently located in Altoona. We are looking for installers who will report to our office in Altoona each morning.

We are currently looking for an Experienced HVAC Installer at our Altoona location to join our team!

Work Hours: 40+ hours weekly, Monday through Friday, overtime and weekends as required

Pay Scale: $25.00/hr. to $30.00/hr. - Depending on experience + Benefits

Position Summary: To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers,s maintaining high quality and timely job performance.

Required Qualifications:

3+ Years Installing HVAC Equipment
Knowledge of Air Conditioning, Heat Pump, Hydronic Boilers, Forced Air Furnaces, and Ductless Systems
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical HVAC controls
EPA Certification
Insurable by the Company insurance carrier.
High school Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
Follow directions as given, written and verbal.
Comply with ALL SAFETY RULES.
Understand how to use a tape measure.
Arrive on time daily.
Ability to fill out a daily timecard accurately.
Be able to carry 100 pounds.
Possesses both written and verbal English language skills.
Demonstrate willingness and commitment to developing customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:

NATE certified or obtain within 1 year of hire
Knowledge of Carrier, Mitsubishi, and Bradford White product lines
Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
Excellent understanding of refrigerant, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless, troubleshooting, and installation of all residential systems
Understand residential codes
Strong leadership skills
