Job Description

Local Residential and light commercial HVAC Contractors in Columbia SC is hiring

Experienced HVAC Installer: Residential & light commercial retrofit/changeout installations

Pay Range: $35.00 to $41.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Hours: 7:30am- 4:30pm | overtime during peak season

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage daily job site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Perform residential HVAC system replacements, retrofit installations, and new construction installations
  • Lead and support installation assistants by providing guidance, training, and oversight throughout each project
  • Conduct system startup procedures, testing, and verification of newly installed equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding equipment features, installation progress, and any questions or concerns they may have
  • Report to the shop each morning, clock in using ServiceTitan, and organize materials and equipment for scheduled installations
  • Deliver a high level of customer care by maintaining professionalism, clear communication, and attention to customer satisfaction throughout the installation process

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience installing residential HVAC systems, including retrofit and replacement projects
  • Previous experience leading installation crews or supervising team members in the field
  • Current EPA Universal Certification required
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds on a regular basis
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan software is preferred but not required
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and have a driving record that meets company insurance standards
