Job Description

Banyan Living, a leader in luxury apartment management across the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas, is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Technician to enhance our exceptional team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and that our residents enjoy a comfortable living environment.

In the role of Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks that uphold our high standards of property management. Your expertise will allow you to handle various repairs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain our facilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and functionality.
Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from residents, ensuring high-quality customer service.
Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
Assist in preparing vacant units for new tenants, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard.
Document maintenance tasks and manage inventory of tools and supplies effectively.
Work collaboratively with the property management team to improve property condition and resident satisfaction.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to tasks.
Effective communication skills with the ability to interact positively with residents and team members.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Availability for on-call duties and emergency repairs.
