Job Description

A First Choice Staffing Service- Immediate Hire: Experienced Patient Service Rep/Medical Front Desk

Monday– Friday 7:50 am- 5:00 pm

Looking for someone with at least 1 year of concurrent employment in the medical field or a hospital setting within the last three years. (EPIC, NEXGEN, Athena, or other EHR systems) – Must have experience scheduling patients for a multi-specialty practice or hospital, answering multiple phone lines, attention to detail is a must, and the ability to multi-task/work well under pressure. Strong computer skills, data entry, and experience navigating medical records.

Pay depends on experience: $18-$21.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to patients
Answer phone
Scheduling
Manage patient inquiries and appointments
Assist with billing and insurance verification

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Patient Service Rep
Highly skilled in customer service and communication
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
EPIC is a plus
Excellent communication

Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
