Experienced PCA/CNA/Caregiver Needed - Atlanta, GA

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 11:00 AM-4:00 PM

Pay: $14-$16/hr

Job Description

Always Best Care-Atlanta is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to assist a client in their home. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mobility assistance and patient transfers, particularly using Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand lifts.

This position requires someone who understands safe transfer techniques and can provide consistent support while helping the client maintain independence, comfort, and dignity.

Responsibilities

Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers.
Operate various patient lifts safely, including Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts.
Provide medication reminders according to the established schedule.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
Follow safety precautions to help prevent falls.
Follow the established care plan and safe caregiving practices.
Observe and report changes in the client's condition or care needs.
Communicate effectively with office staff regarding care and safety concerns.

Requirements

Previous caregiving or healthcare experience.
Hands-on experience using various patient lifts, especially Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts.
Experience assisting clients with mobility challenges.
Current, unexpired CPR and First Aid certification.
Clear TB test result dated within the past year.
Dependability, patience, and professionalism.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to follow care instructions and work independently.
Ability to pass a background check.
