We’re looking for an Experienced Tire Tech. Are you a hard-working, self-motivated team player always willing to learn? If yes, apply now! We are a growing, family owned business with endless opportunities!Duties include but are not limited to:

Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive vehicles and various types of equipment.
Ability to test drive all vehicles repaired.
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Oil changes, brakes, suspensions & other mechanical work
Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
Assess tread levels and valve quality on tires & check wear patterns.
Mounts/demounts tires
Ensures conformance to industry standards
Examines and repairs tires;
Performs preventative maintenance; and responds to emergency road calls as needed.
Perform vehicle alignments

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: Must meet or exceed standards set by the industry recognized trade organizations. High School diploma or GED preferred. Must have some or limited training in automotive repair, with demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further in this area.

License/Certification: Valid driver’s license required.

Computer Skills: Entry level knowledge of computer equipment and applicable software applications.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Moore Tires started in 1991 when Jeff & Angie Moore moved to Rock Falls, Illinois with little more than determination & vision. While living in the apartment above the shop, (a humble two-bay garage) they started serving the communities tire and automotive needs. The original location has now expanded to an 11-bay building that accommodates 16 cars and two semi trucks! While the size of the shop may have changed over the years, the drive to provide exceptional customer care, pricing & service has not.

The Company has expanded to include four new convenient locations in Mendota, Kewanee, Monmouth, and Macomb, all opening with the mission of connecting more people to a rewarding tire and automotive experience.
