Traveling Geotechnical Field Technician – Aspen =
Looking to take your CMT career on the road? We're hiring Traveling Geotechnical Field Technicians for projects in Aspen. If you're based in Colorado and have experience in materials testing, this is a great opportunity to gain experience, earn strong pay, and work on major projects.
= Position Details
- Direct hire with full benefits
- = Pay: $24–$32/hr (based on experience and certifications)
- = Paid certifications and raises as you progress
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of materials testing experience (soils and/or concrete)
- Active ACI or WAQTC certifications preferred
- Ability to travel and work in remote project locations for 4–8 months
- Interest in returning to Colorado (Denver/Colorado Springs area) for local work after project completion
- Strong work ethic and willingness to grow in the field
Project Scope
- Perform field testing on soils, concrete, and asphalt for DOT projects
- Work on large-scale infrastructure projects in Aspen
- Maintain daily reports and ensure compliance with project specifications
