Summary:
- Provide N/C programs for the fabrication of machined parts.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 to program for 3 to 5 axis machines.
- Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming and compare results with original specifications.
- Efficiently program, test, and revise machine programming.
- Select machine type (3 to 5 axes), tooling requirements (for work holding purposes and part orientation), and cutting tool requirements.
- Ability to meet a provided deadline on time.
- Able to work on a team and communicate effectively.
- Provide on-machine support for program development.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years CATIA 5 - 3-axis and 5-axis programming.
- 5 years CATIA 5 - 3-axis and 5-axis programming plus mill-turn.
