Cox Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Multi-Spindle Machining Expert. The ideal candidate for this role takes ownership, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, and is self-driven.

Position Overview: We are looking for an expert with either Tornos or Gildemeister Multi-spindle who can provide technical leadership on multi-spindle machines and automatic bar loaders such as Cucchi and Lemca. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in machine setup, operation, and maintenance, as well as being detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, and setup high-volume, precision, production using Tornos AS14 & SAS 16, Gildemeister multi-spindle machines, and automatic bar loaders such as Cucchi and IemcaPerform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyLead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Provide training and guidance to junior setup personnel.Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Tornos AS14, SAS16, or Gildemeister Multi-spindle Machine Setup/Operator

Expert knowledge of multi-spindle machine operations, including Gildemeister, Tornos AS14 or Tornos SAS 16Experience in setting up and operating automatic bar loaders such as Cucchi and Iemca.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
