Job Summary:

Export Compliance Support: The Export and Industrial Security Compliance Manager assists the Group Export Compliance Manager with day‑to‑day support of the Export Compliance Program, helping maintain adherence to ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and corporate CA&E requirements.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide daily export compliance guidance to engineering, operations, quality, sales, contracts, HR, and other cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain export compliance procedures, training, and internal controls.
  • Review technical data, product classifications, customer transactions, and export activity to ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR/OFAC regulations.
  • Support audits, assessments, and corrective actions related to export compliance.
  • Coordinate export licensing activities and maintain accurate export records.
  • Collaborate with other CA&E sites to share best practices and implement system‑wide improvements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to site leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Support group and corporate compliance initiatives and reporting requirements.

    Industrial Security / Facility Security Office: As the site’s Industrial Security official, this role leads and supports all National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements, ensuring compliance with DoD, DCSA, and corporate security policies. The position requires holding — or the ability to obtain — a U.S. government security clearance.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key on‑site representative to DCSA and other government security agencies.
  • Lead and maintain the site’s compliance with NISPOM and all applicable industrial security requirements as the designated Facility Security Officer.
  • Manage or support classified material control, personnel security clearances, visit authorizations, incident response, and security audits.
  • Lead or support self‑inspections, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews; ensure timely corrective actions and documentation of remediation plans.
  • Develop, deliver, and track industrial security training for cleared and uncleared personnel.
  • Maintain secure facilities, classified storage, and security systems (badging, access control, alarm response).
  • Support insider threat monitoring and reporting requirements in accordance with federal and corporate policy.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records within government security systems such as DISS, NISS, and NBIS.
  • Work closely with site leadership to monitor security posture, communicate security risks, and implement improvements.
  • Fulfill additional industrial security responsibilities necessary to maintain the facility’s compliance and security posture, as assigned by management.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in industrial security, export compliance, or similar field.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of ITAR, EAR, OFAC and working familiarity with NISPOM requirements.
  • Skills: Ability to manage complex compliance programs independently; strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability: Work effectively across functions and brief senior leadership on security and compliance issues.
  • Education: BA/BS
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one within 4 months of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years prior experience as an FSO, Alternate FSO, in a supportive industrial security role; prior experience in the Export Compliance field.
  • Direct experience applying NISPOM requirements at a cleared facility.
  • Aerospace & defense, military, or government contracting experience.
  • Familiarity with IT systems used for security and export compliance.
  • Experience handling classified materials and managing secure programs.

    Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment within a manufacturing setting.
  • Regular interaction with DoD/DCSA representatives.
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing environments requiring PPE (eye protection, hearing protection, ESD straps, etc.).
  • Job requires high attention to detail, extensive computer use, and secure document handling.
