Job Description

JOB TITLE: F-16 APG Mechanic - DEFENSELOCATION: Greenville, SCPAY RATE: $34-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift: Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or Weekend Shift(assigned after training based on team needs)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants.

  • Support final assembly, aircraft checkout, maintenance, and delivery operations.

  • Perform maintenance and operational support for:

    • Landing gear

    • Powerplants

    • Flight controls

    • Fueling/Defueling

    • Aircraft movement, launch, and recovery

  • Follow established maintenance procedures, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Support flight readiness and production operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent aircraft maintenance experience(4+ years considered with relevant fighter aircraft experience).

  • Experience with:

    • Phase Maintenance

    • Final Assembly

    • Flight Operations / Flight Readiness

  • Experience on fighter aircraft preferred, but not required.

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or Weekend shift after training based on business need.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred, but not required.

  • Military or fighter aircraft maintenance background strongly preferred.
