Job Description

Join our CPA firm client in a well rounded tax focused role.

95% Remote Tax Associate or Tax Senior position offers:

In this position you must live within 45 minutes from the office to be able to attend meetings, classes and meet with clients 5% of the time.

Details

Build relationships with small business clients, prepare and review returns, assisting on all business matters including tax, accounting, and other business situations as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor in Accounting or related field
3 to 5 years of recent public accounting experience
Prepare tax returns for individual, corporate, and fiduciary clients
Senior level- Review assigned tax returns for proper data entry and tax compliance
Proactively develop solutions for tax issues
Perform tax planning
Perform some accounting work
Maintain and improve client relationships
Skilled at interacting with clients through whatever method the client prefers (email, phone, and Zoom)
CPA required or in progress by having at least one CPA exam completed
Must live within 45 minutes of Raleigh, NC
