About the Job: POSITION TITLE: Electrical Apprentice. LOCATION: San Antonio, TX. FLSA: Non-Exempt. WAGE RATE: $16.00 - $18.00. CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time. Join Our Team! We are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice with up to 2 years of experience to support commercial construction projects in the Del Rio, TX area. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about the electrical trade and eager to gain hands-on experience working alongside licensed journeymen in a dynamic, real-world environment. As an apprentice, you will receive supervised hands-on training, learn to interpret electrical drawings, and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Job Summary: Assist journeyman electricians on commercial job sites. Participate in on-the-job training and educational workshops. Follow all site safety protocols and procedures. Complete required evaluations and skills assessments. Maintain tools, materials, and clean workspaces. Travel to different job sites as needed. Receive and apply constructive feedback from supervisors. Maintain a detailed log of training and tasks completed. Develop professional working relationships with colleagues and clients. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Up to 2 years of experience in electrical work or relevant training. Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Valid driver’s license preferred. Strong physical condition and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Good time management and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn and grow in the trade. Ability to work in indoor/outdoor construction environments. Supervision Received and Exercised: Works under the direct supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Supervisor. Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision over time. No supervisory responsibilities. Working Conditions: Work is performed both indoors and outdoors on active construction sites. Physical work is required, including climbing, lifting, bending, and extended standing.
