Job Description
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire Math and ELA tutors for grades K-5. Job Description (Required): This is a Face-to-Face Opportunity only. Candidate should have experience working with small groups of students (up to 4 - 6 students). Tutoring will take place in areas across Dekalb County (i.e., Decatur). Tutors must be proficient in the areas of Math and ELA Support. Tutors must have at least 2 years of experience with tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s). Tutors should be equipped to assist students with closing skills gaps. Must have availability during the school day, 10 am to 4:00 pm. We seek tutors who can connect with students and get results. Currently, a Certified Georgia Teaching Certificate is a plus but not required. A bilingual tutor (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
