This Fabricator A role involves setting up and operating machinery, interpreting specifications, and ensuring all work meets strict quality standards. The ideal Fabricator A is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and experienced in fabrication and machining processes.Required Experience & Skills Strong experience in fabrication and machining operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Experience operating machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses Knowledge of CNC controls and machining parameters Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Measure, mark, and scribe materials to guide machining operations Set up and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on machinery Calculate and adjust machining parameters including speed, feed, and depth Develop layouts and plan sequences for fabrication processes Operate machines and monitor performance to ensure accuracy and quality Perform trial runs and adjust settings as needed Fabricate, assemble, align, and weld components into final assemblies Use tools to cut, grind, bend, and shape metal materials Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify specifications Install and test machined parts for proper functionality Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety and compliance standardsWork Environment Manufacturing environment with machining and fabrication equipment Precision-driven role requiring attention to detail and consistency Safety-focused setting with strict adherence to procedures and PPEJobID124408
