Job Description

Job Title: Welder (Stick Welding, SMAW)

Location: Brandon, MSEmployment Type: Full Time

Pay: $28-$32 per hour plus overtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Welding Operations: Perform stick welding to join metal components, ensuring strong, clean, and precise welds.

  • Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment, including selecting appropriate electrodes and settings for various materials.

  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.

  • Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years SMAW experience

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Pass drug screening and background check
