Job ID: 11003-1 Job Title: Fabrication Stager Location: 1500 Meriden Road-Waterbury, CT 06705 Duration: 9 Months Pay Rate: $20-21/hr on W2 (Including all benefits) Shift: M-F 7AM-3:30PM Job Description: Fabrication Stager Position Summary: The Fabrication Stager is responsible for preparing materials, staging jobs, supporting CNC, Threadrolling and Haas machining operations, and assisting with general material movement throughout the facility. This role ensures smooth production flow by coordinating materials, performing basic machining prep, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities " Pick and stage materials " Review and prioritize line loading based on schedule " Perform material inspection using the proper measurement equipment " Complete all initial job paperwork and record material consumption. " Put away overstock in designated storage locations. " Cycle counting of inventory " Perform machining operations using bandsaws, chop saws and belt sanders " Transport materials from supplier to inventory or in and out of the building ________________________________________ Qualifications " Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred. " ERP experience preferred " Math abilities required " Computer literacy required " Need to be able to lift 50 lbs " Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). " Ability to read basic manufacturing documentation and handle material measurement tools (e.g., micrometers). " Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and recordkeeping. " Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
