Fabrication Tech / Welder | $24/hour | Minden, NE | Full-TimeReady to put your welding and fabrication skills to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment? We re hiring a Fabrication Tech/Welder in Minden, NE for a 2nd shift opportunity with strong long-term potential and excellent benefits upon hire.Schedule:Monday Thursday | 2: 30 PM 1: 00 AMPay:$24.00/hourPosition Type:Temp-to-HireWhat You ll Do:
- Weld and fabricate metal components for agricultural equipment
- Perform MIG welding on materials of varying thicknesses and sizes
- Read measurements, drawings and work instructions accurately
- Prepare and position materials using jigs, fixtures and fabrication tools
- Inspect welds for quality, fit and structural integrity
- Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, saws and related equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Follow all PPE and workplace safety guidelines
- MIG welding experience required
- Welding school training or prior industrial fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements, basic drawings and layouts
- Experience with fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 4-day work week with 3-day weekends
