Overview
Job Description
- Provide technical expertise for the design, modification, and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities.
- Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support project teams with technical expertise during facility construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities.
- Oversee project budget, schedule, and provide update reports to key members of management.
- Manage and participate in facility inspections, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and procurement to optimize facility performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulations and stay up to date with new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in facilities engineering, design, or maintenance for wet gas and condensate systems.
- Working knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards (e.g., API, ASME, DPT, PHMSA).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ProMax or similar engineering design software.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to meet specific deadlines based on department needs and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely team-oriented with strong oral and written skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Must be able to perform light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
- Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
