You will be the Facilities Engineer for the Facilities Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for delivering reliable, high‑impact facility solutions that enable mission success.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop design criteria, layout, and detailed drawings in collaboration with architecture and engineering firms.
  • Prepare bid packages, contracts, and cost estimates for construction and facility‑acquisition projects.
  • Coordinate and inspect construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Analyze facility data, restrictions, and feasibility to guide project decisions.
  • Manage project schedules and documentation, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

4 year technical degree. Minimum 2 years experience in an engineering related field. Experience with project management.

Desired Skills:

Experience with AutoCad, Knowledge of HVAC installation and operation.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
