This role will direct the maintenance team responsible for equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. The position also plays a key role in security oversight, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining critical infrastructure systems.Primary Responsibilities

Equipment & Maintenance Operations
Direct and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across CNC and precision manufacturing equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
Drive improvements in equipment uptime, performance, and reliability
Manage the CMMS platform to monitor work orders, asset history, and maintenance data
Partner with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and facility staff
Establish clear performance goals and ensure accountability to safety and quality standards
Provide technical and safety training to enhance team capability
Develop and track departmental KPIs aligned with business objectives
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and succession planning for critical roles

Key QualificationsRequired:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline
Certifications such as OSHA 30 (General Industry), NFPA 70E, Lean/TPM, or First Aid/CPR
Skills & Experience:
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Proven success managing maintenance or facilities teams in a technical environment
Experience with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to prioritize, schedule, and coordinate multiple initiatives
Knowledge of safe work practices and ability to enforce safety procedures
