Facility Maintenance Service- Distribution Center

Location: Olive Branch, MS, USA - 8313 Polk Lane

Shift(s):

Monday to Friday 6 AM-2:45 PM.

OR

Friday to Monday 6 PM-4:45 AM (an additional $1.50/hr shift differential will apply on top of base pay)

• Note: shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required.

Job Summary:

McKesson's temperature-controlled Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS is currently hiring a Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems.

This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

What You Will Need:

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience

• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment

• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)

• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments

• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc)

• Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA

• Work order experience

• Experience operating Power Equipment would be considered an asset. However, location is willing to train those that are willing to learn, but, must be able to maintain certifications

• Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.

• May work at heights and in cold areas at times
