HIRING BONUS AVAILABLE
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT - Hospital Environment (FULL-TIME)
Employer: Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) at Miami County Medical Center - Paola, KS
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Pay: Up to $25 per hour based on skills and experience

Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support Miami County Medical Center. This is a hands-on role working within a hospital environment performing facility and equipment maintenance across multiple building systems.

HIRING BONUS
- $500 after 1st month
- $500 after 2nd month
- $500 after 3rd month
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance throughout the facility
- Work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests
- Help ensure systems meet safety and operational standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Participate in possible on-call rotation as needed

Requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using computers and technology
- Mechanical, construction, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Must pass background check and 10-panel drug screen• Must complete required health screenings/vaccines
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in varying indoor temperatures and conditions
