Facilities Maintenance Worker (MW)
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent completion of twelfth grade acceptable.
Experience: Two years of full-time experience in general maintenance, renovations, construction, or facilities maintenance; specialized training may substitute for experience.
Certifications/Licenses: Clean, valid Driver's License (NYS, PA, NJ, or CT).
Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Work Location Requirement: Onsite position.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $23.3671

About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Worker performs skilled and semi-skilled work in repairs, installations, carpentry, painting, electrical tasks, plumbing, groundskeeping, moving/transporting items, and documenting maintenance activities under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities
- Repair and replace plumbing fixtures including faucets, sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Repair and replace steam valves, pipes, and thermostats; insulate steam lines and clear stoppages.
- Operate and maintain heating and hot water systems including filters, pumps, and thermostats.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, stairs, railings, floors, roofs, locks, and hardware.
- Assemble and install furniture, blinds, shelving, cabinets, and platforms.
- Assist with renovation and remodeling including drywall repair, plastering, and painting.
- Perform electrical repairs including lighting, switches, outlets, cables, and appliances.
- Maintain program grounds including mowing, trimming, and snow removal.
- Move, transport, relocate, and discard furniture, equipment, supplies, and client belongings.
- Operate tools and machinery including drills, saws, lawnmowers, and snow blowers.
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance such as fluid checks, tire changes, and cleaning.
- Use work request tracking systems and submit required documentation and checklists.
- Perform masonry and flooring tasks including tile and carpet installation and repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
