City Wide provides building maintenance services to commercial properties and is seeking a manager to oversee buildings in a territory, manage service providers, and work with the account manager on resolving customer issues.

As a City-Wide Night Manager, you will develop and maintain productive working relationships with service providers, communicate with the account manager about any issues that need immediate attention, make recommendations of service providers for work assignments, and inspect buildings. In the buildings you oversee, you will be responsible for inspecting, organizing, managing, and maintaining records and inventories.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

  •       Visits/Inspects all buildings on a rotating basis to ensure cleaning is up to City Wide standardsCommunicates policies and procedures to in-house employees and Independent Contractors (IC)
  •       Conducts proper safety training to in-house employees and ICsTrains on proper cleaning techniques to in-house employees
  •       Partners with ICs to train on City Wide cleaning techniques Acts as a liaison between independent contractor and FSM
  •       Adheres to the Client Complaint Policy (physically verify, when possible)Reports to FSM details of nightly inspections
  •       Verifies all building checklists are being followed Sends nightly report to FSM recapping areas of opportunity, employee issues, etc.
  •       Maintains location key boxSupports New Starts
  •       Partners with independent contractor crews and conducts random building inspectionsCommunicates any building maintenance issues to FSM
  •       Identifies NBJS (non-basic janitorial services) opportunities and reports them to FSMRemains current with online training
  •       Travel requiredUses timekeeping system to record hours
  •       Reports any work-related injuries

    • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Energetic, hard-working, dependable, and detail-oriented
    • Previous management experience

    Requirements

      • 6 months of related experience and/or training
      • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
      • Solid understanding of basic business math
      • Strong MS Office experience
      • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
      • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
      • Prompt, regular attendance

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
