Position Overview:
The Facility, Grounds & Campus Manager is responsible for managing and executing year‑round grounds-care operations across farms, campuses, and office locations, including snow removal, landscaping, mowing, and seasonal maintenance. This role oversees campus office and facility operations by coordinating building maintenance, maintaining interior and exterior condition standards, and ensuring overall property appearance meets Christensen Farms expectations. The position ensures company office campuses remain safe, functional, and welcoming for employees and visitors while aligning with established workplace standards. Additionally, this role is responsible for identifying, planning, and contributing to facility and property improvement projects that enhance safety, operational efficiency, usability, and overall workplace experience.
What You Will Do:
Leadership & Contractor Management
- Provide daily direction and oversight of grounds and site‑care staff.
- Manage selection, contracting, and performance of site‑care, facility, and grounds contractors to meet CF safety, legal, quality, and cost standards.
- Maintain strong contractor and vendor relationships to ensure service reliability, flexibility, and competitive pricing.
- Coordinate contractor access, scheduling, and work execution to minimize business disruption.
Cost, Planning, and Reporting
- Review site care, facility, and campus management costs; identify opportunities for efficiency and value improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Christensen Farms purchasing policies to make low‑cost, best‑value decisions.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager regarding work progress, risks, and operational challenges.
- Assist with planning and forecasting of facility, campus, and grounds‑related needs, resources, and improvements.
Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all facility, campus, and grounds operations.
- Ensure work complies with company safety policies, environmental considerations, and operational standards.
- Support cross‑functional collaboration with Maintenance, Operations, and Business Services to align facility needs with company objectives.
What You Offer Us:
- Working knowledge of facility management, office campus operations, and grounds/site‑care services.
- Experience leading crews and managing contractors across multiple properties or locations.
- Strong skills in planning, organization, and prioritization in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
- Ability to manage budgets, evaluate costs, and drive value‑based decisions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
- Minimum formal education required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum number of years prior job experience required: 4-9 years of relevant experience in facilities, grounds, campus or site operations
- Motor Vehicle Requirements: Because this position requires operating a company vehicle, any offer for this position is contingent upon the review of your motor vehicle record (MVR). The MVR will be reviewed to determine insurability based on CF's insurance carrier and company policy.

- The targeted base pay range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
