The Opportunity

Step into a high‑impact role where you’ll strengthen the quality and reliability of materials across Hitachi Energy’s high‑voltage manufacturing network. You’ll manage end‑to‑end supplier quality performance, resolve material issues that affect operations, and champion improvements that keep our supply chain strong, innovative, and resilient.

This is an opportunity to shape the way we collaborate with suppliers, protect operational continuity, build data‑driven insights, and elevate quality performance across the global supply base. If you’re energized by problem‑solving, cross‑functional teamwork, and driving meaningful change, this role offers a dynamic environment where your ideas matter and your impact is visible every day.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the full lifecycle of material nonconformity management across manufacturing sites.

  • Coordinate containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Track and analyze supplier-related quality trends to identify risks and improvements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for supplier-related quality issues across factories.

  • Ensure suppliers meet Hitachi Energy standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support supplier audits and verify closure of quality-related findings.

  • Monitor supplier delivery and quality KPIs, including cost and performance metrics.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and disruptions.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years in quality control, manufacturing, supplier development, or operations.

  • Experience with RCA, 8D, and quality methodologies.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across global, cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of high-voltage products or process control (preferred).

  • Certifications such as L6S Green Belt or ISO‑9001 Auditor (preferred).

More About Us

  • Work with a global leader committed to advancing a sustainable energy future.

  • Grow your skills through world‑class training, development pathways, and mobility opportunities.

  • Make a direct impact in a collaborative, inclusive, and diverse environment.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage – Medical, dental, vision, and prescription plans

  • Retirement Savings – 401(k) with company match and additional contributions

  • Paid Time Off – Flexible PTO and paid holidays

  • Professional Growth – Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning programs

  • Family Support – Parental leave, adoption assistance, and fertility benefits
