Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Physical Therapy, the faculty member will perform duties related to teaching, service and research in the physical therapy field.

- Assist the university in implementing the Statement of Purpose
- Assist the university in implementing the long-range institutional and financial plans
- Use active learning strategies to teach entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy learners in faculty member's area of expertise
- Create and maintain a scholarly agenda in faculty member's area of expertise consistent with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- Engage in service to the university and the profession through committee appointments, providing continuing education offerings, clinical practice, consulting, etc.
- Exemplify and promote the core values of the physical therapy profession to students and peers, which include accountability, altruism, compassion/caring, excellence, integrity, professional duty, and social responsibility
- Advise learners in academic and professional development issues
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
