Job DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and driven Family Law Associate to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, custody, child support, and hearings. The individual will be expected to provide superior client service, demonstrate high ethical standards, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in family law.Responsibilities:As a Family Law Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Representing clients in family law cases concerning divorce, custody, child support, and related matters.2. Drafting and reviewing legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements.3. Conducting discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and subpoenaing records.4. Preparing for and attending court hearings, mediations, and trials.5. Negotiating settlements in a manner that is in the best interest of the client.6. Maintaining client confidentiality and conducting all work with the highest ethical standards.7. Collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless client experience and efficient case management.8. Continually updating knowledge and skills in family law through professional development and continuing legal education.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Family Law Associate position should possess the following qualifications:1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.2. Admission to the state bar and good standing.3. A minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing family law.4. Proven track record of representing clients in cases involving divorce, custody, child support, and hearings.5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.6. Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.8. Proficient in legal research and writing.9. High level of integrity and professional accountability.10.
