Job Description

A respected law firm in Seattle is looking to add a Family Law Attorney to its growing practice. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful client contact, sophisticated family law matters and the opportunity to build a long-term practice.

What you’ll do:

Handle a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support and complex financial issues
Manage cases independently while working closely with clients and the firm's attorneys
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and settlement agreements
Take part in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
Develop strong client relationships and take ownership of matters
Have the opportunity to grow your practice and take on increasing responsibility

What we’re looking for:

2+ years of family law experience preferred
Strong writing, research and communication skills
Comfortable handling matters independently
Good courtroom and negotiation skills
Washington bar admission
Someone who is looking for a long-term home and wants to continue growing as a family law attorney
